Show EARLY DIXIE CITIZEN DIES AT PANGUITCH PANGUITCH, Nov. 8 Funeral services were held Monday, November No-vember 4, at 2 p.m. for James T. Daly, Sr., who died Sunday morning of pneumonia, after a five days illness. James T. Daly was bom in Boston. Massachusetts, August 2, 1S5S When seventeen years of age he left home to seek his fortune, for-tune, joining a circus and vaudeville vaude-ville company traveling west. How long he stayed with this company is not known. However, he found himself in St. George about 1S75, where he soon afterward after-ward joined the church and met and married Miss Ellen Lister Hale Riding in the St. George temple on March 27, 1879. They moved to Panguitch in October of 1SS0 where they resided since, rearing a family of twelve children. child-ren. Mr. Daly is survived by ten of his children, sixty-four grandchildren, grand-children, and thirty-five great grandchildren. t |
