Show ! WASHINGTON I We had with us in our Ward I conference last Sunday: Leland ! Hafen of the Stake High Council. ! Reports were given by all ward organizations. Splendid reports i were given. Three musical numbers num-bers were furnished by members ; of the St. Georg wards. ! O. C. Bowman of St. George 'and -Merril Christophersen of Pro-; Pro-; vo, Scout executive of the Tim-uanogos Tim-uanogos council visited our M. 1 1. A. services Tuesday. Both vis-! vis-! ited the scouts assisting with the I games and giving valuable ad-1 ad-1 vice. I Mr. and Mrs. Ed Prisbrey of i St. George visited Mr. and Mrs. ' Herman Schmulz Sunday. Hyrum Boggs, who has been in poor health for some time, is reported very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Alexander Alex-ander and small daughter, Joan of Huntington Park, California, visited relatives in town Wednesday. Wed-nesday. . Floyd Walston and Martin Moli-nario Moli-nario of Conrad, Montana arrived here last Thursday. Mr. WaLston has come to get his wife and family who have been visiting her parents here for some time. The P. T. A. held its opening social Wednesday evening. A very enjoyable evening was spent. Mr. and Mrs. Smith Lyle and Max Hannig, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Nisson, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jolly, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Whel, all of Pioche, Nevada, spent Armistice Armis-tice Day here visiting relatives. C. S. Wilkinson of Salt Lake City, is a business visitor in town. Chester Nell of Pinto, spent Armistice Day here with friends. Mrs. Elian Westover is reported report-ed to be ill with heart trouble. The Misses Beth Stephens and Inez Larsen entertained their Bee Hive class at the Stephen's home Saturday evening. A very good time was 'enjoyed. |
