Show Clyde Graff and Mervin Reber left Wednesday for Los Angeles where they will spend a few days. Music people and friends of Miss Evelyn Thurston will be delighted to learn that she leaves Pari tomorrow for home. M. W. Adams was appointed constable con-stable of Washington precinct by the county commissioners at their . meeting meet-ing Tuesday. D. C. Watson, Jim Johnstun and Wm. Atkin, Jr., left Wednesday for an elk hunt at Mt. Nebo. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Bracken, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Hunt, Derral and Claude Bracken and Bert Truman of Central attended the Armistice day celebration here Saturday. Hugh O'Connor, former chief deputy dep-uty of the narcotic division of the California district, now field representative repre-sentative of the Pacific Drug Review, was a business visitor in St. George last week end. Deputy Sheriff John Cottam returned re-turned Tuesday from Salt Lake City to which place he accompanied the federal officers who had in custody three members of the bandit gang who last week were captured near St. George. Word has been received here by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Nelson of the marriage of their son James B. to Miss Mabel Anderson of Salt Lake City. They will make their home in that city where Mr. Nelson is employed. |
