Show FT1 '. ; ' i I ' - . I j . L.... . " I Don Benjamin Wilson Former resident dies at Lake Powell Don Benjamin Wilson, 33, died Aug. 5, 1983 in a boating accident at Lake Powell. Born May 3, 1950 in Vernal to B. Vere Wilson and Lola Manwaring Wilson. He married Carol Grimshaw Aug. 9, 1969 in Enoch City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He was a graduate of Cedar City High School and received his bachelor's degree .in business admin-sitration admin-sitration from Southern Utah State College. He later managed Winston Tire Company in West Covina, Calif., for five years, before becoming a distributor for Snap-On Tools. He moved to St. George in May, 1983. He was a lover of sports, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Carol; two children, a daughter Cheya, age 7, and a son Don Benjamin (Donny), age 3, all of Bloomington ; his parents, of Cedar City; four brothers, Terry D. Wilson and Rick V. Wilson, both of Cedar City, Daryl L. Wilson and Kristen Vere Wilson both of Vernal; and two sisters, Mrs. Sharon (Boyd) Workman of Vernal and Valerie Wilson, currently serving an LDS mission mis-sion in the Lima, Peru North mission. Funeral services were Monday in the Enoch LDS chapel. Burial was in the Cedar City Cemetery. |
