Show Cattle association sets annual shebang The Uintah Cattlemen's Association is preparing for their annual business meeting. Aug. 13 at 1 p.m. in the Golden Age Center, and barbecue, at 7 p.m. at the Vernal Junior High. At the business meeting, president of the I'tah Cattlemen's Association. Roger Peart, will speak. Dr. J. F. Schoenfeld will bring members up to date on the "Hangs" situation. Beef production will be the subject of Mike Sibbett's. executive secretary of the state association, address at the barbecue that evening Tributes will be paid to lifetime honorary cattlemen of 80 years and over: Joe and John Haslem. Association members have been mailed their 1983 paid-up front family fami-ly tickets, said Cody Jenkins, president. Guest tickets for anyone who'd like to come will be available at the door at $5 a person. Members can save their association time and postage by picking pick-ing up l;84 dues at the door. "We have a good program lined up, and we'd like every member and any guests they wish to bring, to come enjoy en-joy the whole shebang," Jenkins said.
