Show Swimmer missing at Steinalcer A swimmer at Steinaker Reservoir as reported missing to the Uintah County Sheriff's office about 9 p.m. Thursday. Sheriff Arden Stewart dispatched the Search and Rescue I Patrol and they combed the reservoir surrounding area until 2:30 a.m. Friday morning. The Search and Rescue was again the scene at daybreak Friday searing sear-ing with boats, divers and aircraft. deputy who was on another detail in "helicopter was called off that detail to help in the search. Sheriff Stewart as in an airplane coordinating the efforts. The 29 year old missing man was dimming with other people at the reservoir Thursday evening. It is ""dear as to how he became lost. The Uintah County Sheriff's officers he is feared to have drowned, but are continuing to search in hopes he is alive. At press time Friday he ha1 not been located. |
