The slide is 376 feet long with three S-curves and will empty into a 25 foot by 65 foot swimming pool. Tentative opening date is set for the first week in July. 1 Naples City Park Water slide and swimming pool are nearing completion World Entertainment Company, who is building and will operate the swimming pool and water slide at Naples City Park, has tentatively set the opening date for the first week in July. Naples City will not own or have anything to do with the operation of the facility, although they will be participating par-ticipating in the profits generated by the pool and slide through an agreement agree-ment with World Entertainment Company. Com-pany. Tenative hours of operation will be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Price of tickets has not yet been disclosed. There have been accidents occur with some other water slides which are open at the top. Naples City and World Entertainment officials emphasized em-phasized this is a totally enclosed slide and those same type of accidents are impossible. Safety records of other similar water tubes have been very impressive. The tube slide is 376 feet long, has three S-curves, and will empty into a 25 foot by 65 foot swimming pool. Everyone submitting an entry will receive one free ride on the slide. The winner of the contest will receive a season pass for the water slide. Other prizes will also be given.
