Show Truck goes out of control, hurts 1 ;: The driver of a pickup truck was ; injured slightly and four people in i another truck escaped injury when the vehicles collided Tuesday at around 9:45p.m. at about 2275 West 500 North, the Uintah County Sheriff's Office said. Richard Hoffmann, 23, Vernal, was '' treated and released from the Ashley Valley Medical Center for a cut on his right eyelid, said sheriff's deputy Jeff Merrell. The 1977 Ford small-size truck driven by Hofmann was heading west on 500 North when it went out of control and hit a westbound truck while trying to pass it. The other vehicle, a 1981 Chevrolet pickup, was driven by Clark, Hall, 26, Vernal. He was with his wife, Beverly, 26, and sons, Adam, 3, and Jarod, 18 months. The Hofmann vehicle hit a utility pole after it left the road, said Merrell. |
