Show FORMER RESIDENT EARNS DEGREE Kevan D. Sharp, son of Bob and Yvonne Sharp, Grand Junction, Colo., has completed all requirements for the degree of Doctory of Philosophy in engineering at Utah State University. He wrote a dissertation entitled "Development of a Model for Probabilistic Slope Stability Analysis and Application to a Tailings Dam." He is a graduate of Uintah High School and received a bachelors and masters degrees in engineering at USU. The recent graduate attained National Deans List in 1978-79 and 1979-80 and is a member of Phi ( Kappa Phi and Tau Beta ' Pi. He was chosen to hold an undergraduate research assistantship at ( USU and presented a ' paper at the American Society of Civil Engineers national convention in New York City in 1981. He ' has taught undergraduate labs in soil mechanics while a student at USU. ' |
