Show ' " . f - '?' ' ' ) Gary K. Winn Gary Winn interred at Lapoint Gary K. Winn, 27 of Lapoint, was dead on arrival at the Uintah County Hospital June 13, 1981. Born Jan. 19, 1954 in Roosevelt to Kay L. and Donna Kolb Winn, he was a Vietnam veteran, member of the LDS Church, and worked as a driller in the oil field. He enjoyed baseball, Softball and being a jockey in horse races. He won a trophy for coaching baseball while in the U.S. Army. He is survived by two sons, Bryan of Oklahoma and Tony of Salt Lake City; father of Lapoint, mother, Mrs. Donna Kolb Johnson of Heber City; brother and sister, Tony Lane Winn of Lapoint and Mrs. Tom Joany Reidhead of Roosevelt; grandmothers, Mrs. Thelma Winn of Lapoint and Mrs. Ethel Kolb of Roosevelt. Funeral services were Monday; June 15 in the Lapoint Ward Chapel. Counselor Coun-selor Edward E. Walker conducted, and the family prayer was by Merlin Reynolds. Howard Reynolds gave the invocation. Counselor Walker rendered some remarks, and Aria Mansfield, Corolee Mansfield, Keeta Hammond and Carol Lee sang "In the Garden of Tomorrow" accompanied by Melba Eaton. Kim Mansfield spoke. "Going Home" was sung by Dorothy Peltier accompanied by Melba Eaton. Matthew Mat-thew Mansfield gave the benediction. Postlude and prelude music was by Elizabeth Esplin. Tom Reidhead dedicated the grave. Burial was in the Lapoint Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Winn, Troy Reidhead, Errol Hullinger, Ray Zufelt, Kyle Mansfield and Shawn Lee. The Lapoint Ward Relief Society was in charge of the flowers. |
