Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the Uintah County Commission at Uintah County Courthouse Cour-thouse Vernal, Utah until 2:00 o'clock p.m. July 14, 1981 and at that time publicly opened for construction con-struction of the Green River Bridge on Red Wash Road in Uintah County, the same being that section of County Road Route No. 262 from Vernal to Bonanza identified iden-tified as County Road Project No. 262 (3). The length of bridge to be constructed is approximately approx-imately 700' and the principal prin-cipal items of work are approximately as follows : Steel pilling steel box girders reinforced concrete con-crete work. The project is to be completed in 375 working days. Prequalification of bidders bid-ders is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, it will be necessary that the bidders have on file with the State Road Commission Com-mission of Utah completed com-pleted and approved, the required Prequalification Statement pertaining to contractor's experience and financial condition. The attention of bidders is directed to the fact that contractors engaged in highway construction work are required to meet the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (52 Stat. 1060). Uintah County in accordance accor-dance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 ( 78 Stat. 252), hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively af-firmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement adver-tisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color or national origin. Specifications, proposal forms, and plans may be obtained only at Uintah Engineering Inc. upon application and payment pay-ment of a fee of $150.00, no part of which will be refunded. Each bidder must submit sub-mit a bid bond from an approved surety company com-pany on forms provided by the Surety Company or the local agency; or in lieu thereof, cash, certified cer-tified check, or cashier's check for not less that 5 percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Uintah County, Coun-ty, as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the contract bonds as required. re-quired.
