Show Moon Lake Electric requests pass through rate increase Unfortunately, rate increases caused by inflation, growth, and regulatory control are necessary, according to Steve A. Glaim, General Manager of Moon Lake Electric Association. Mr. Glaim reported that, due to an increase from the wholesale power supplier, Deseret Generation and Transmission Tran-smission Cooperative, Moon Lake is finding it necessary to request a pass through increase for its consumers. The pass through will recover the approximate $158,000 a month added cost of power that the Association is experiencingand ex-periencingand nothing more. It is proposed that $.00256 will be added to each kilowatlhour sold effective June 25, 1981. For example, this would result in an increase of $2.56 for a residential consumer using 1,000 KWH's a month. A hearing will be held at the Moon Lake Electric Association office Roosevelt at. i0 Wednesday, juneaj where the public j, vited to attend and , questions or J. comments.
