Show DUCHESNE The following young people, whe are spending the winter in Duchesne, Du-chesne, spent Thanksgiving with their relatives, Misses, Blanche Swasey, Josie Evans, Stella Mof-fit Mof-fit in Boneta, Miss Leona Beck-stead Beck-stead in Talmage and Miss Louise Chldester in Altonah. Mrs. Fern Moffitt, Miss Corrine Moffitt, Mrs. Clytla Gunn, C. W. Smith and G. V. Billings were Mt. Home visitors Sunday, where they gave several musical numb-era numb-era and speeches at the Sunday afternoon meeting of the L. D. S. church. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Brennick and daughters, Bernice and Betty, spent Thanksgiving day at the home of Mrs. Mary Spratt. O. J. Jensen of Talmage was a business visitor to Duchesne Tuesday. Tues-day. Brig Stevenson, newly appointed member of the Relief Committee was In Duchesne on business Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Chas Griffee and son of Palisade, Colorado have been visiting vis-iting with Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Win-slow Win-slow for several days. Mrs. Griffee Grif-fee is Mrs. Winslow's Aunt. Joe Danner is taking care of Jackman Herrick's place for the winter, while Mr. Herrick is in Arizona. Frank Mayhew was a visitor at the Record office this week. Recent news from Mrs. Mary Connor in Los Angeles states that she is much improved in health. She now has a position with a prominent Los Angeles family. The young son, who is in her charge was at one time a member of "Our Gang Comedies". Mrs. Maud Atwood has returned to Duchesne from Heber, where she has had an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Bush Murdoch. Mur-doch. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Owens left this week for California, where they will spend the winter. Miss Vedley Young has gone to Los Angeles for the winter where she will take a Beauty course. A. G. .Burton of Talmage was a Duchesne visitor Wednesday. |
