Show 181 Jobs Created 111 Duchesne County County Roads and Municipal Projects Now Under Construction. Work started Monday morning in all of Duchesne County's twenty-four Districts, under the Federal Reemployment Program, being financed by Cival Works Administration Ad-ministration Funds. Duchesne County's total allotment allot-ment of men to be put to work on this program Is 181. This figure was arrived at by apportioning the allotment for the state, according accord-ing to the 1930 census, compensated compen-sated with the relief roles of the various Counties, on a 75-25 basis. Work on this program is conducted con-ducted under the direct supervision supervis-ion of the County Commissioners, and except in the cases of the three municipalities, Duchesne, Roosevelt and Myton, will be used on the improvement of County Roads. Work in the three Cities will be spent on City Projects, recommended re-commended by the City Councils, and approved by the Central Committee. WAGES SET FORTH Accrding to Federal regulations at least 50 per cent of the men must be men who were on the relief re-lief roles, prior to November 16th. On December 1st. there will be a readjustment of the force, and the entire number must be drawn from men registered on the Federal Fed-eral Reemployment Lists. These are lists which the Federal Fed-eral Reemployment Officer, Wm. H. Case of Duchesne has been compiling, and . include. the present relief rolls which are automatically transferred. These lists are still open for those in the County who wish to register for relief work. In compliance with Federal regulations, reg-ulations, and with the NRA wages for common labor are set at 50c per hour for single hands and 12 per hour per horse for team. There will be six hours work, per day, five days per week, or a total of 30 hours per week. Payment is made weekly by draft on the U. S. Treasury. F. E. Case of Mt. Emmons has been ap- pointed as the disbursing officer, and will handle all drafts, which are paid only after time cards are complete and pay-rolls are signed. It has been emphasized that this program is a definate change from the relief roll, and each laborer 13 expected to fully earn his wages. RELIEF STILL FUNCTIONS For those who are still in need of direct relief, and who do not have a potential wage earner in the family to take advantage of the C. W. A. program, the Central Relief Committee is still disbursing disburs-ing R. F. C. Funds! By the request of the members themselves, Ray Dillman of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, B. L. Dart of Myton, F. . E. Case of Mt. Emmons and C. W. Smith and Mrs. Florence Madsen of Duchesne, who have served so efficiently on the Central Relief Committee for the past have been relieved R. G. Porter of Duchesne, Clarence Clar-ence Ashton of Roosevelt and Brig Stevenson of . Mtn. Home have been named as the new Central" Relief Committee. They will handle the affairs of the direct relief, re-lief, through the office of the County Clerk, and directly under the charge of Mrs. Afton Crocker, and will also guide the expenditures expendit-ures of C. W. A. Funds. ALLOTMENT DETAILED The allotment of 181 men for Duchesne County has been apportioned appor-tioned to the various districts, according ac-cording to the 1930 Census as follows: fol-lows: Neola, 12; Cederview, 10; Roosevelt, 31; Myton, 17; Antelope, Ante-lope, 3; Midview, 3; Lake Fork, 7; Bluebell, 5; Altonah, 12; Boneta 5; Duchesne, 19; Tabiona, 6; Fruit-land,3; Fruit-land,3; Utahn, 4; Hanna 4; Tal-mage, Tal-mage, 5; Ioka, 7; Monarch, .2; Strawberry, 3; Harper, 1; Mtn.
