Show SOCIETY A delightful affair of the week was the dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Madsen, Thursday evening, eve-ning, November 23 in honor of District Judge, Abe Turner, Dist. Attorney, Dallas Young and Court Reporter, Frank Alder. Other invited in-vited guests were: Mayor and Mrs. George C. Kohl, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Poulson, Mr. and Mrs. Oakes Halstead, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Young, Mr. Merrill Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schonian, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crocker, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Pierson, Mrs. Ollie Schonian and Minnie Pope. During Dur-ing dinner toasts were given by Judge Turner, and attornys R. G. Porter, Dallas Young and Merrill Larsen and Mayor George Kohl, Paul Allen and Frank Alder. Miss Ann Clayson accompanied by Veda Poulson rendered violin selections Emily Madsen gave an appropriate approp-riate reading. ""Bridge was the diversion of the evening with Mrs. Margaret Porter Por-ter and Mr. Ed Hart winning high score. The following guests enjoyed a delightful de-lightful bridge dinner din-ner at the home of Mr.' and Mrs. R. G. Porter last Friday evening: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Crocker, Judge Abe W. Turner and F. M. Alder. . Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Hollen-beck Hollen-beck Thanksgiving day were, Mr. and Mrs. Guy J. Hollen-beck Hollen-beck and sons, Milton Mil-ton and Conrad, Mr. and Mrs. Titus Jones and Leon Burdick. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Murdock and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Murdock were dinner din-ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Por-t Por-t e r Thanksgiving day. Dinner guests at the R. G. Porter Por-ter home Monday were Henry Ruggeri and L. A. McGee or Price. A committee of members of the Eastern Star, consisting of Mrs. C. H. Selch, Mrs. R. G. Porter and Mrs. Ollie Schonian held a meeting meet-ing at the home of Mrs. L C. Win-slow Win-slow Tuesday evening. |
