Show City Court Actions Moab City Court activities during the past week have been heavy, according to a report from Judge Donald Crist. On Sept. 7, Danny L. Bates appeared on a charge of petit pe-tit larceny in the theft of a bicycle from A. F. Patterson. Patter-son. He entered a plea of guilty and was fined $50 or in default of payment of fine, 20 days in jail. Thurman Cole of Salt Lake City was scheduled to appear ap-pear for arraignment on charges of DWI and driving during revocation on Sept. 11. His attorney phoned and entered a plea of innocent on behalf of his client. Trial was set for Sept. 26. On Aug. 11, Paul Appier appeared ap-peared and entered a plea of innocent to charges of DWI and driving during revocation. re-vocation. His trial was set for Sept. 28. Carlos Hartley appeared on Sept. 11 and entered a plea of guilty to a public intoxication intoxica-tion charge. He was sentenced senten-ced to 10 days in jail. Cm Sept. 11, Phillip Chim-burae Chim-burae of Whirs Rocks, Utah entered pleas of guilty to etiarges of DWI and driving during revocation. He was fined $200 on each charge. Russell L. Green of Craig, Colo, entered a plea of guilty guil-ty to charges of DWI and driving during suspension and was fined $200 or 40 days in jail on the DWI charge and $100 or 2 days in jail cji the suspension violation. Daniel C. Lynch, Boyd W. Dickerson, Michael J. Le-Sesne, Le-Sesne, John J. Kaiser appeared ap-peared on Sept. 12, on charges charg-es of possession of a controlled con-trolled substance. Kaiser entered en-tered a plea of guilty to the charge and stated that he was the owner of the controlled con-trolled substance and that the other men did not know of the presence of the drug. He was fined $299 or 60 days in jail and charges against the other three were dismissed. dismis-sed. Larry D. Sizemore appeared appear-ed on Sept. 12, on a charge of injury to or destruction of property belonging to Janett Campbell. He entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 30 days of th esentence suspended upon the condition that he make restitution for the property which was damaged. |
