Show Lengthy District Court Sessions Held During Week Large numbers of trial settings set-tings as well as a series of civil and criminal matters, kept Seventh Judicial District Dis-trict Court in session for long hours on Tuesday, the regular reg-ular law and motion day. Ronald D. Dull appeared for arraignment on a charge of second degree burglary, and entered a plea of not guilty. His trial was set for Nov. 16, at 10 a.m. before a jury. Dull also appeared on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon and trial on this mtter was set for Nov. 21, also before a jury. I Mike David Butler came before Judge Edward She. I ya on a revocation of his i- probation. In 1971, the court ' had placed him on probation on a burglary charge for a : period of three years upon the express condition that he not, during this period, violate vio-late any federal, state or local lo-cal law. Upon an affidavit being made, it appeared, Judge Shc-ya said, that the defendant had stolen a quantity quan-tity of gasoline from K. E. McDougald and had pleaded guilty in Moab City Court. Butler's attorney had asked that his client's probation not be revoked, but the court, after hearing all of the evidence revoked the probation pro-bation and sentenced Butler to serve .the sentence which had been suspended. That sentence, which is to begin immediately, is not less than one nor more than 20 years in the Utah State Prison. In the case of the State of Utah versus David W. Sev- is on a charge of failure tc itop ; 'V )mmand of a police orticer, he entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced sen-tenced to a fine of $250 with $100 suspended on the condition con-dition that he obey all federal, fed-eral, state and local laws for 2 eri )d of one year.
