Show Sale of Handcraft Items Promoted at Area Meet 1 Mr. Bob Tibbit, field specialist spe-cialist for Uplands, Inc., organized or-ganized and sponsored a Creative Products Conference Confer-ence for the four county area on Saturday, June 2'.". Speakers included Mr. Dan Johnson, Executive Director SEUCAP, Price, Mr. Kelsey Moline, UITA Volunteer, Phoenix. Arizona, Arizo-na, Mr. Mack Johnson, Price Trading Co., Price. ' and Mrs. Harriett Dimit-rich, Dimit-rich, St. Chrstophers Mission, Mis-sion, Bluff, Utah. Many handicrafts were displayed by individuals from Grand, Carbon, Emery, Em-ery, .and San Juan Counties Coun-ties and discussions centered center-ed around ways to market these handicrafts. Many avenues were explored and the decision to form a handicraft han-dicraft guild was agreed upon. This guild will include in-clude all four counties and Residents are encouraged to contact the Uplands Office, Of-fice, Mr. Bob Tibbit, 637-0092 637-0092 or the representative in your area to indicate you have handicraft items you fwish to market or if you are inferos ted in joining the guild to learn a handicraft. If you have a handicraft item and wish to sell it please contact one of the above people. Our first attempt at-tempt to market handicraft itfems will be July 4th at the Price City. Park. If you are interested in selling or just joining to help create added income for your talents, contact your representative to have your handicrafts picked up or information as to a central cen-tral location to leave them Tape your name, address and price desired to each item you wish sold.
