Show TGS Employees Picnic Set for Saturday Sa'unlay, July 10, 1971 Texas Gulf Sulphur Company's Comp-any's Potash 0iwations will hold tluir Fourth Annual An-nual Employees Picnic, a yearly event enjoyed by the employees and thv.ir families, famili-es, This festive affair will carry the old fashioned picnic flavor with colorful 'streamers, cold drinks, ice cream, cotton candy and will feature barbecued beef. A group of employees designated de-signated as chefs will carve the beef. Other groups act as servers, ice cream and soft drink vendors, wdiile a sizeable crew is busily engaged en-gaged filling balooiiH with helium for the children. All hellers wear skim-nner skim-nner straw hats and bow ties and wives of the helpers help-ers act as hostesses. Mr Bill Bessingcr, Oen-leral Oen-leral Manager of the Potash Pot-ash Operations, will act as emcee of the company sponsored spon-sored event. Each family in attendance is automatically automatic-ally eligible for the drawing draw-ing of prizes. The popular "Sands," ai local combo, will furnish the musical entertainment for the afternoon's festivities festivi-ties which will rui; from noon until 3:00 p.m. |
