Show "Day for the President" Planned by GOP Clubs The Utah Federation of Republican Re-publican clubs is sponsoring a "Day for the President" this Saturday, October 21. Local women working on the program include Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Hammer, chairman and Mrs. Mars Pope. In honor of the day, the local lo-cal women stated, flags will be flown. The state of Utah is planning a 25 car caravan with top candidates from a-cross a-cross the state, accompanied by a band. To accompany this caravan are planned rallies ral-lies at each of eight stops along the route. Local residents resi-dents are urged to support the local Republicans in making mak-ing this day a success. The local women stated, "President Nixon has been fighting crime and drugs in spite of the things said against him. President Nixon does care indeed hedoes." In concluding the announcement announce-ment of the local observance of President's Day, the local organizers asked, "Wherever you walk whoever you talk to, all day say something good about your President and especially your country." |
