Show Report Week's Activities City police activities reported report-ed during the week included the arrest of seven juveniles on charges of second degree burglary. Six of the juveniles were arrested in connection with the burglary of the Jack Payne home early in this month. The seventh was apprehended ap-prehended while in the process pro-cess of burglarizing automobiles auto-mobiles in downtown Moab. A break-in was reported at the Gift Shop Jewlers last week although only about $20 in small change was reported report-ed missing, according to police po-lice officers. On October 13, Gary L. Perez, Pe-rez, driving a 1971 dodge backed into a 1972 Chevrolet Chev-rolet owned by John White at the high school parking lot. About $100 damage was done to each car. There were no citations issued since the accident occurred on private property. The Walker Drug Parking lot was the scene on October 15, of a hit and run accident when an unknown vehicle ran into a 1969 Mercury owned by Clifford Ranch, which was parked in the lot. About $100 damage was done to the Ranch auto and the incident is still under investigation. Moab City Police officers Jim Nyland, Gene Migliori, Larry Rowley and Chief Mel-vin Mel-vin S. Dalton attended a school on defensive tactics on October Octo-ber 12. The school was administered ad-ministered by the Peace Officers Of-ficers Standards and Train-' ins, CORRECTION An accident report last week which involved Bill Foote of Moab erroneously reported that Mr. Foote received a ticket for improper passing.
