Show Services held on coast for Al Flowers Funeral services were held Oct. 28 in Lone Pine, Calif., for former Moab resident. Bryant A. (Al) Flowers, 73, who passed away there on Oct. 25. Mr. Flowers was born in Yoakum, Tex. on Dec. 20, 1903. He married Leora Hart in 1940 in Fallon, Nevada and she survives as well as two step-sons:Kenneth Hart of Moab, Richard Hart, Fallon, Nev.; three grandchildren, Bryant and Jane Hart of Moab, and William Hart of Fallon, Nevada. Al and his wife, Lee, resided here until just over a year ago when they moved to California. Califor-nia. They operated Flowers' Pet Grooming Service and were very active in the community. While living here Mr. Flowers was an active member of the Elks Lodge and the Moabites Senior Citizens Club. Interment was in the Owens Valley Cemetery, Lone Pine, Calif. Kenneth Hart and wife, Judy, and their son, Bryant returned Sunday from California Califor-nia where they had spent a few days and attended funeral services for Mr. Flowers. A large number of relatives residing there attended the services. Mrs. Flowers' sister and brother-in-law, Nola and Albert Franklin were unable to travel to California. |
