Show Firm plans drilling at Cisco Dome The Cisco Dome area of northern Grand County will figure prominently in an announced $2 million exploration explor-ation program to be conducted soon by New Products Corporation, Corpor-ation, it was announced this week in the Salt Lake Enterprise. New Products Corp. reported report-ed it will participate as a general partner in and manage operations for a $2 million and gas drilling fund that has been sold by Sutro & Company, Inc. (New York Stock Exchange member firm), headquartered in San Francisco. The drilling fund will be used to finance drilling operations oper-ations on property owned or controlled by New Products subsidiaries in the Cisco Dome area of Utah and in four counties in Texas. New Products president John B. Tenney explained that as general partner of the drilling fund, the company receives a net carried working interest of 23 per cent after payout on each well. NP Energy Corporation, a whullv owned subsidiary, will be the operator of the wells and will be responsible for all drilling, completion and production activities of the fund. 4O0O0Ofi0OBflOOAAAAIl.j. Tenney said: "We plan to use the funds to begin drilling from 18 to 22 wells on our Utah and Texas properties. Of these, eight wells will be drilled in the Cisco Dome area of Grand County; the remainder remain-der in Texas. We will be drilling at depths averaging 3,000 to 6,000 feet seeking, primarily, natural gas. Based on the geology of these areas and the nearby producing -tis we believe that these locations have excellent serve potential." The company owns app imately 9.800 gross acre, the Cisco Dome area, and : 4,440 gross acres un farmout in the same area.
