Show Founder's Day is celebrated Beta Eta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha celebrated cele-brated Founders Day at the Greenwell Restaurant on May 11, . 1978. Following Follow-ing a Chinese dinner, special guests Utah State President Jan Frisbey and State Association of Arts chairman Marian Isgar installed the new officers for th;' L'Jirang year. The elected officers for 1978-1979 will be: President Presi-dent - Larraine Turner, Vice President - Cindy Brewer, Recording Secretary Secre-tary - Nori Swanson, Corresponding Cor-responding Secretary -Cornellie Fossey, Treasur-. er - Cinda Hintz and Educational Director Jeannie Martin. Cindy Brewer, Lynda Reed and Chris Rpseman received full membership into ESA by receiving their Jewel Pin. Karen Brox was initiated initiat-ed as a new pledge into ESA. First Pearl Awards were received by Cindy Brewer, Cornellie Fossey, Cinda Hintz, Jeannie Martin, Wanda Milton and Lynda Reed. The First Pearl is the highest honor a new member can receive in her first year of sorority. Receiving special recognition recog-nition as a life active member was Nori Swan-son. Swan-son. Larraine Turner and Nori Swanson received their third decree Pallas Athene Award. Highlights of the evening even-ing were presentations of the outstanding girl and the outstanding pledge. Outstanding girl was Cindy Hirschfeld and outstanding out-standing pledge was Wanda Wan-da Milton. Hostess for the evening was Rachel McDonald. |
