Show 4-H members in Salt Lake I Four young adults from Grand County recently spent three days in Salt Lake City at the annual Utah 4-H Youth Conference. Confer-ence. Lisa Black, Laurie Het-zel, Het-zel, Tommy Partridge, and Troy Stephens were among the 160 participants partici-pants who learned more about health. Various health resource people from the Salt Lake area demonstrated different differ-ent types of machines and tests for the 4-Her's. Blood types were determined, determ-ined, Spirometer, Blood Pressure, and Skin Fold tests were given. The children toured the LDS Hospital, Odyssey House, State Laboratory, University Univers-ity Medical Center, Col- umbus Community Center, Cen-ter, and the Cardiovascular Cardiovas-cular Laboratory at the University of Utah. The 4-Her's were served serv-ed Computer Health Meals, Me-als, participated in exercise exer-cise programs, and listened lis-tened to a number of speakers from the health community. |
