Show Arthritis film viewed by Moab group A good cross section of interested people gathered gather-ed last week at the Ida Mae Decker Solarium of Allen Memorial Hospital to view a film about arthritis entitled "Wherever "Wher-ever You Are," narrated by Henry Fonda. Former Moabite Dorie Melich, immediate past-president past-president of the Utah Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, and Wally Haines, chairman of public pub-lic information, were present pres-ent to answer questions and make commentary. According to these two persons, and the film, over 29 million people have some form of arthritis. arthrit-is. One in every 4 families fam-ilies is affected and 1 of every 10 people has it. They said arthritis also affects over 250,000 children, child-ren, hence arthritis is not an old-age disease. However, How-ever, women are affected more often than men. Medicine, therapy and surgery are used to treat the disease, and people are urged to beware of quackery, which flourishes flourish-es in arthritis treatment mainly because of the nature of the disease.
