The dress had a high-necked, lace, empire bodice and was overlaid with a chiffon skirt trimmed with a tiered lace ruffle. The bodice featured a lace, v-shaped ruffle at the neck, full-length lace sleeves, and a trim of tiny white flowers at the waistline. Vickie's chapel-length chapel-length veil was edged in lace to match her dress and she carried a cascade of yellow daisies, peach roses, and pale green carnations, accented with baby's breath. Rozanna Jochim, sister I of the bride, was maid of honor; and the groom's sister, Bonnie Pentico from Salt Lake City, was the bridesmaid. Melissa Kay Hotz, Moab, the bride's cousin, served as flower girl. Vickie's attendants all wore full-length acetate gowns in pastels of peach, green, and yellow, overlaid over-laid by sheer white nylon flocked with pale peach, yellow, and green flowers. They featured a v-shaped lace ruffle at the neck to match that of the bride. Rozanna and Bonnie carried car-ried small bouquets to match Vickie's, and the flower girl had a small basket of daisies, roses, and carnations. The mother of the bride wore a long, beige, polyester dress with lacy sleeves. The groom's mother had a full-length, short-sleeved, pale green polyester dress. A lace-trimmed, lace-trimmed, floor-length, turquoise gown was worn by the bride's grandmother. grandmoth-er. All three ladies had corsages made from yellow yel-low roses and carnations. The groom wore a white Cordoba with long tails. His shirt was white, with pale green top stitching on the ruffle. His bouton-niere bouton-niere was a peach rose, accented with baby's breath. The best man, Doug Holdaway, from Salt Lake City, wore a white Seville with a pale green shirt. Richard had two ushers, his brother Rod Berland of Spokane, Washington, Wa-shington, and Vickie's brother, Steve Jochim from Moab. The groom's attendants, and the fathers fath-ers of the bride and groom all wore green carnation and white rose bouton-nieres. bouton-nieres. A reception was held at the Sportsman Lounge for the newlywed couple and their guests following the ceremony. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jenco and family and Mr. and Mrs. Les Lewis from Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Pious Jochim from Lantry, So. Dakota; Mr. and Mrs. David McCleave; and Mr. and Mrs. John Pentico. Also present were many friends and relatives from Moab. Vickie and Richard are now making their home in Moab. He is employed by Canyonlands Concrete Contracting, and she is employed by Spencer's Printing and Stationery. They plan a honeymoon in the first part of August. |
