Show National BLM Advisors To Meet in Salt Lake The Steering Committee of the Bureau of Land Management's Manage-ment's National Advisory Board will meet August 4 in Salt Lake City to lay plans for the next full meeting of the Board. BLM Director Curt Berklund said the seven-member committee com-mittee will develop recommendations recom-mendations to him on policy and program issues for discussion discus-sion by the Board and will recommend a time and place for the next Board meeting. The Committee meeting in room 1408, University Club Building, 136 East South Temple, will be open to the public and both oral and written suggestions or statements state-ments will be received. Persons wishing to present oral statements will be heard from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Statements should not exceed ten minutes and must be pertinent to national or regional region-al issues suggested for consideration consid-eration by the Board. Speakers should notify the Utah Public Affairs Officer for BLM before close of business August 3 by writing him at University Club Building, 136 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111, or by phoning him at (801) 524-4227. Speakers who do not make pre-arrangements will be heard as time permits.
