Show New Wildcat Locations Announced The Division of Oil, Gas & Mining has reported two new exploratory test wells will be drilled in Utah. Applications to drill the wells were approved this week. In Grand County, Willard Pease Oil and Gas Company, Grand Junction, has scheduled the No. CC-1 Federal-An-schutz to go about 3,450 feet to test the Entrada formation for possible oil and gas potential. It is in the Bull Canyon - Cisco Dome vicinity some 15 miles northeast of the town of Thompson. Koch Exploration Company, Denver, submitted an application applica-tion for its No. 1 Red Creek located about 5 miles southeast south-east of Fruitland in Duchesne County. Location is some 20 miles west of the town of Duchesne and is just southwest south-west of oil and gas production in the Sink Draw-Cedar Rim field west of Starvation Reservoir. Reser-voir. Koch Exploration has not released the planned objective depth of the wildcat well. |
