Show Services Here Thursday For Marie A. Rose Marie A. Rose passed away Aug. 2. 1976 in Allen Memorial Hospital in Moab. She was born Feb. 15, 1909 in Tempo. Ariz., and is survived by her husband Robert H. Rose, a retired Park Service geologist. Other survivors sur-vivors include two daughters of Moab, Mrs. Max (Helen) Cooley and Miss Marilyn Rose; two brothers, Friling and Maurice Awrey, San Diego, Calif; two half brothers, broth-ers, Fred and Leonard Bod-well, Bod-well, Martinez, Calif; and five grandchildren, Cathy, Janice, Robert, Charles and Jimmy Cooley, Moab. Mrs. Rose was a resident of Moab some 4 years, moving here after the retirement of her husband from Arlington, Va. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church, and was active in Altar Guild and St. Clare's Guild. She was a member of Valiant Chapter No. 21, Order of the Eastern Star, where she had served as Esther and was secretary of the chapter at the time of her passing. Mrs. Rose was also active in P.E.O. Sisterhood, Moab Literary Club, Moab Newcomers Club, where she was treasurer, and Museum . i i Marie A. Rose Board, where she was secretary. secre-tary. Friends may call at Hefner's Turner Funeral Home on Aug. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church, Rev. San-ford San-ford Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery with O.E.S. graveside services. serv-ices.
