Show Three Moab Men Inducted Into Service Three Moab boys are toeing inducted into the service this week, according accord-ing to Winford Bunee, clerk of the local selective serVice board. They are: Floyd Stocks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stocks; Jeffrey Jef-frey Shipley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Shipley; and ' Peter Harrison, son of " Mr. and Mrs. Bill Harri. son. State Director of Selee-Itice Selee-Itice Service, Col. Richard V. Pcay, has announced, that Utah's quota of the 17,000 national draft call' for February will be1 108 men. The first group of men vulnerable for induction lin the month will be the extended priority group, which consists of men with 1969 lottery numbers below 195, and who wcrci not culled during 1970 due to administrative delays. When this group is exhausted ex-hausted the registrants who received lottery numbers num-bers in July of 1970 will be called. In accord with instructions instruc-tions from national headquarters, head-quarters, the 1970 lottery number of 100 will not be exceeded by local boards in reaching the February call. Col. Peay added that it is highly unlikely that any-of Utah's local boards will reach the number 100 for their February quota. |
