Show Moab 4-H Club I (ID 3)03) News Notes I A 4-H Conservation Camp will be held this summer at the Utah State University Forestry Camp in Logan Canyon. Can-yon. Youth and leaders from the Uinta Basin and Southeastern South-eastern Utah Areas will attend. at-tend. Each district will be allowed to bring 15 young people plus 3 adult leaders or agents. The purpose of the camp will be to teach principles and outdoor education, to expand and improve 4-H work in conservation and outdoor education, edu-cation, and to interest prospective pros-pective students in a Conservation Conser-vation program. Participants should be between be-tween 11 and 18, have an interest in conservation of natural resources, and should have completed the Hunter Safety Program. A 4 H leader training school will be held in Monticello for all 4-H leaders in Grand, San Juan and Emery counties. The training school will be held April 26 all day long. Training sessions will be held in clothing and knitting, foods-nutrition, child care and preparing teens for marriage and parenting, and home environment, en-vironment, management and consumer education. All leaders and junior leaders lead-ers are encouraged to attend, leaders planning on attending attend-ing should contact Mrs. Sharon Shar-on Guymon at 259 5204 within the next week. Transportation Transporta-tion will be arranged. |
