Hubler of Moab, has his newly-earned newly-earned pilot's "Wings of Gold" pinned on by his wife, Gail, upon completion of flight training at Chase Field Naval Auxiliary Air Station in Beeville, Texas-While Texas-While at Beeville, 'he received two phases of his advanced ad-vanced training. The first covered engineering and navigation, day and night instrument flying, extended extend-ed navigation flights and aircraft carrier landings. The second covered f ighter tactics and air-to-air gunnery gun-nery in a Grumman "Tiger" jet trainer aircraft. A graduate of Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas, Lieutenant Hubler entered the service in June 1965. I |
