This bulletin contains data as to temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind, sunshine, and so forth. It ia intended in-tended to give, in aa impartial manner, a description of Bslt Lake climate, and to show aa far as bare figures can how this climate compares with that in other cities of this country at the same latitude. - - When people ask: "What is your! average temperature!" the answer will not in any sense give a correct idea ef this temperature mueh leas the climate. To give a comprehenaive view of the temperature of a place, one must know not only the average yearly temperature, but also the average for every month, and not only the averages but also the extremes, that is the highest high-est and lowest for every month and for the year. J The same story must be told ia regard re-gard to precipitation, humidity, wind, sunshine and all other elements of the weather.
