Speeding at aixty miles an hour, four motorcycls riders collided col-lided In front of th grandstand at th Hawthorne race track Hunday afternoon-One afternoon-One rider was killed and thre othera were Injured, one perhaps fatally. Nixon Bailey and H Ink ley were following In order, but were going at such speed that they wera unable to alow down- Nixon's machra gan Into the fene and hie -body waa hurled twenty feet In the air. H died from Internal Injuries after being taken to a hospital. Bailey suffered a fractured skull and Internal Injuries and probably will die. Hlnklev's collar bone waa broken and , Hart waa bruised. |
