Other resolutions were adopted as follows: Indorsing in glowing terms the eforts of Secretary Wilson In behalf of the livestock live-stock Industry, and thanking the various branches of the Department of Agriculture Agricul-ture for their efforts. Approving the organization of their cooperative co-operative llvestodt .-ommission company and pledging to It the patronage and support sup-port of the association - Indorsing the present meat inspection law, which provides tra' the cost of in sytion be paid by the Coernment. and rl;oslng any change placing the cost of U Inspection on the packers, as it was i X that suoh cost, if placed cn the iptJrer. would have to be paid by the P'ockmen Petitioning the Federal Government to take a full and comprehensive census o' livestock. Indorsing, a bill providing for the prompt furnishing of cars and for th prompt interchange in-terchange of loaded and empty cars between be-tween railroads. Requesting the members of the association asso-ciation to furnish detailed Information of delavs in the handling of livestock. Indorsing Senate bill TST. whloh provides pro-vides for the furnishing of livestock equipment upon proper notice, and for i's prompt movement. Condemning the aotlori of the railroads In their Interpretation of the twenty-eight twenty-eight hour law and requesting its members mem-bers not to execute the written consent of the shipper to the extension to thirty-six thirty-six hours, except where It was absolutely neress&ry. Approving the maximum and minimum system of protective tariff and ureing the establishment of a permanent nonpartisan non-partisan commission, charged with the duty of studying our trade relations with foreign countries.
