Mr. Wallace, who possesses ' a baas-baritone voice of great compass, was at bis beat. He gave an encore "Here's to the Roe." composed by H. 8. K rouse, who lived In Halt Lake a number of years ago. "The Broken Melody." played upon the 'cello by Mr. Press, was unusually well received, and In response to an enthusiastic enthusi-astic encore, Mr. Press repeated It. Mr. Press Is a new recruit to Salt Lake's musical circle. Mr. Pea body leading, th Orpheus club rendered three very beautiful beauti-ful selections, "Ashes of Roses," by Cole. "Archer's Song." Thayer, snd "Absent. " by Metcalf. Miss Cecelia Sharp, pianist, was reelled again and again, giving "Papllloua" and the overture from Tann-hauler. Tann-hauler.
