Show MARRIAGE MEASURE AS AMENDED. NOW READY TO BE SIGNED With amendments the Senate in session ses-sion today passed House bill No. 7, by Pedersen, providing for a new marriage law. The bill received the signatures of the Speaker and the President, and will then go to the Governor for ratification. The bill, as changed. Is as folows: Incestuous Marriage Marriages between be-tween parents and children, ancestors and descendants of every degree, brothers broth-ers and sisters of the half as well as the whole blood, un.-les and nieces, aunts and dpi ht . and first cousins, or between be-tween anv person related to each other within and including the fifth degree of consanguinity, computed according to the rules of civil law. are incestuous and void from the beginning, whether the relationship is legitimate or illegiti- mate. The bill eliminates the word "depot." which now comes under the jurisdiction of the countbe. and gives the board I control in addition to its former duties of electric light companies, power, express ex-press and pipe lines. House bill No. 19, by Bobmson. which seeks to raise the salary of the members of the Board of Equalization from $MJ0 to $15ni' a car, was referred back to the committee. Senator Rasband attempted at-tempted to block the bill on account of the increase in salary. Will Visit Richfield. The Senate accepted an iucitation to visit Richfield tomorrow. The bill is for the purpose of appropriating appro-priating $2'i0n for the expense ot the Agricultural college experimental sta tion to investigate the possibilities of rec laiming the alkali and water logged lands of Emery rounty and ascertaining bv what means the rise of alkali on new lands may be avoided.
