Show FINE TALISMAN ORE. Manager P. J. Donahue' of the Talisman Talis-man mine in Beaver county, came la from a trip of Inspection to his property this morning and brought some fine samples of silver-lead ore from the new body that waa recently encountered. When seen upon his return he explained that the ledge was first encountered In the north drift off the 226-foot level, and at a point where the management was making mak-ing an upraise to connect with the ore that had been revealed in, the workings fifty feet above. Since the time the continuation of the ore was exposed In this upraise, the management man-agement has gone back to the tunnel level and continued the driving of this north drift, with the result that -the new samples of ore Just brought In were taken from the face of this drift, where a good body of silver-lead ores has been uncovered. uncov-ered. The Talisman company Is making regular regu-lar shipments of this ore, a car of which was started to the market last Saturday, and another one will be loaded about Wednesday. The higher grade ores average aver-age the company about $80 and the lower rrade ores run In the neighborhood of 30 per ton. Just now the company has the brightest prospects for the permanency perma-nency of the mineral xone being proved up. |
