Show END MENTOR ELIiy BIG SHOW Plans for Coming Entertainment Enter-tainment by the "Best Fellows on Earth" Well Under Way. The editorial staff of the Elk's Booster, Boos-ter, the paper to be issued by the Elks, shortly, and the committee that is to produce the annual entertainment to be (riven soon, met yesterday afternoon in the "blue room" of the club. A discussion discus-sion of considerable length followed in the completion of arrangements and plans for the entertainment and the selection se-lection of persons to take part. The . selections made were: J. C. Leary, middle man; Dana T. Smith, end man ; M. E. Mulvey, end man ; B. F. Redman, end man; D. C. Dunbar, end man and monologue artist. J. 8. Critchlow and Lester D. Freed are on for a few fancy stunts and W. R. Sibley, J. D. Sullivan, and Harry Shearman will be heard from. The following well-known men will also take part in the programme: William Laevllle. D. C. Fifty women will assist In specialties and choruses and fifty little girls will take part, all under the direction of Rufus K. Love. The rehearsals for the men and women will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings at the Elks' lodgeroom, and for the little children and high school girls every evening at the same place. The management of the Elks' Booster has arranged ar-ranged to meet 100 newsboys this evening even-ing at the Juvenile Betterment League building, to turn over to them subscription subscrip-tion blanks for the Booster, which will be sold to all comers for 5 cents. |
