Complications have arisen over a resolution res-olution passed by the City Council last Monday evening that may cause considerable con-siderable trouble for the street , supervisor. super-visor. Under the resolution , the street department is directed to have all obstructions ob-structions outside lawns and on the premises of the city removed. In a number of places lawns have been ter raced down close to the sidewalk and a small cement wall constructed. In other places the property has been terraced ter-raced and a small fence constructed to protect the lawn. Should these fences be allowed to stand for a period of seven years, unmolested, un-molested, the property would then become be-come the property of the owner of the premises. Many of the property owners . refuse to remove the fence. |
