Show NO TRACE OF POISON IN STOMACH OF THE MOTHER AND CHILD DENVER. March $. Prof. W. D. Engle, head of the department of chemistry of the University of Denver, has transmitted to District Attorney Stlgder, the results of his analysis of certain organs of Mrs. Cora B. Wright and her daughter, Genevieve, Gene-vieve, both of whom were found dead in their home eight days ago. Benjamin C. Wright, husband and father, is accused Of having murdered them by using poison. Wright is in the county Jail and now declares that the confession he made to Chief of Police Delaney is untrue and was forced from him by threats of abuse. City hall officials who were present when Wright was questioned by Chief Delaney, deny that Wright's statement was involuntary. invol-untary. The mJrdered woman and child, were taken to the home of the mother in Benton Harbor, Mich., for burial. |
