Show FORESfSUPERVlSORS 10 MEETJN OGDEN Convention to Be Held on February 7 The annual meeting of forest super-vfaors super-vfaors for the fourth dlatrict of the rial ional forestry service has been cillnd at Ogden on February 7. The convention will last five days. There will be a general discussion of forestry problems, including gracing and fire prevention on the forests of the fntermountatn states. Dana Parkinson, Par-kinson, supervisor of the Wasatch forest, for-est, who has been active In his efforts to bring the beauties of the national forests before the public, will lead the discussion on th "Development of KccreHtion Possibilities of the National Forests." It appears probable that steps Initiated Ini-tiated in the Wasatch district last year when the delights of Wasatch canyons and Mount Tlmpanogoa were advertised adver-tised largely through the efforts of Mr. Parkinson and the Salt Lake press, will be given special attention by the department. The completion of the Skyline trail through the Wasatch and around the I'lnta mountains wit) be one of the big topics tj-efore the convention. This promises to be one of the chief operations opera-tions of the Wasatch division this year, assisted by the officials of the other forest through which the trail will puhs. |
