JrHK first call for football candidates brought out about slxty men at I the 'University of Utah yesterday afternoon, and the boys wrt put through & hard grind In preparation for the big game against the B. Y. V. on Thanksgiving day at Cummings field. Numerous welt known stars were out and the real battle for position will start tomorrow afternoon, when the men will be sent against each other In the first real scrimmage of the season. Ths boys are anxious to get at one another, and this wilt be the chief means of selecting ths players for ths team that is to batfle the Provo athletes. The Crimson squad showed up extremely well yesterday, considering con-sidering that the boys have not had any real conditioning work, and they are expected to make a good showing in ths gams against ths bunch from Provo. Henderson, Yea tee, Cooper, Lang- Walker are a few of the fellows who are out for the line positions.
