Show Motorcycles Wanted for Boys in France Emergency call sent -Bl IL 1 No More Motorcycles' or Sidecars to Be Sold to Civilians, Is Request; Volunteers Called fcu AN EMERGENCY call has been sent out for all motorcycles motor-cycles and side cars held by dealers throughout the United States for the use of American troops in France. This Is the Information Infor-mation contained in a telegram to Arch M. Thurman, secretary of the state council of defense, from the depot de-pot quartermaster at Ft. Omaha, Neb. "By the direction of the quartermaster general," the telegram orders, "you are requested to ask deulers of your state to cease delivery of all new models of Harley Davidson and new- model N Hendre or Indian motorcycles. Also all side cars for motorcycles are 1 wanted. Telegraph this depot the names of all dealers, stating how many istanf either the motorcycles or side cars Uiey have In stock. Tills Is an emergency emer-gency call for use of troops in France." 80,000 MOTORISTS WANTED. In connection with this order a telegram tele-gram from headquarters of motor transport corps 304, Ft. Sam Houston, Tex., has been received by Captain F. V, FitzGerald, draft executive officer for Utah, calling for 80,000 volunteers for the motor transport crps, 20,000 of whom are to come from the twelve states west of the Mississippi river and north of the boundary of Missouri. Salt Lake la included among the twelve states west of the Misslts1ppr. and the men are promised speedy overseas over-seas service. LIMITEDS AVAILABLE. All men between the ages of IS and 6 are eligible for this service except the men between the ages of 21 snd 31 who Vegistered prior to September 12 snd have been placed In class 1-A.
