Rose Bowl 'Hurling' Hero Looms as Regular Quarter LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (AP) Howard Harding Jones, coach of Southern California's Rose bowl champions, will have plenty of quarterback when he calls the squad together next September, but Doyle Nave will be No. 1.
