L Bicyclist Hurt by Auto; Truck Crashes Into Parked Car A young bicyclist was recovering Wednesday and a truck driver faced reckless driving charges ai result of Salt Lake City traffic accidents. Injured was Ivsn Caldwell, 31, of 2 Fourth East street, who suffered abrasiona on nose and left leg when a car, driven by Mrs. Eugene C. Hanson, SO. of 1009 Fourteenth Eaat street, "clipped" the rear wheel of the bicycle he was riding about 11 p. m. Tuesday at Fifth Eaat and Second South etreets, Thomas 8. Davis, aa. of 1U0 South Weat Temple street, waa arrested by Traffic Investigators E. H. Chrte-tensen Chrte-tensen and G. M. Hopkins on a reckllia driving charge after his truck crashed into a parked car about 7:11 p. m. Tuesday in the 1000 block on 8outh 'West Temple atreet According to. tha official police report, Davis' truck struck the rear end of the parked car, owned by F. Lester Sorenaen, 30, of 80 West Seventeenth South street, knocked the machine about AO feet. The truck then leaped the rurbing and crashed through a picket fence. None was hurt |
