Show Ogden Star Takes Lead Away From Jack Quinn In Bowling Tournament LEADS BOWLERS Claude W. Parry of Ogden, listed before th tournament aa one of the most dangeroua competitors. Is on top of th standing with th SO-gam bowling aerie for th state championship champion-ship half over, The Ogden star rolled MS series Sunday at the Orpheura alley here for a ten-gam total of IMS, to go SO pin ahead of Jack Quinn. who led in the first week's play with an average aver-age of 19. Quinn held onto second place with a (36 series at Fort Douglas, Doug-las, although Ed Stowell, tlx other Ogden man In th tourney, cam within two pin of catching him. Stowell has total of 1817, against Quinn' ISIS. SHINE AT OBPHIUM 8undsy was a great day for four of th bowler rolling at the Orpheum. While the two Ogden men were riling, ril-ing, Norman Schultx and Herb Bren-neke Bren-neke were turning In th best scores of th day with aerie of 1028 and 101S, respectively. Brenneke's mark is of particular value aa It kept him within striking distance of the leaders, lead-ers, giving him a ten-gem total of 1I7S, or 187 average In fourth place. Despite hi record total, Schultx is In ninth place because of low scores the first week.
