' ' The committee In charge of the decoration of the streets In honor of President Pres-ident Roosevelt's visit to the city the latter part of the week has begun to take advantage of the passing of the recent rainstorm and has already thrown a number tof streamers to the breexe. . '.The first bunting put up was at the corner of Fifth South and State streets where streamers have been stretched from the four corners to the center of the street. The streets along the line of the Presidential march will be arched with national na-tional colors and virtually every foot of every building, save the roofs and windows, win-dows, will be burled under a mass of the star-spangled bunting. Only rainy weather will now retard the progress of the committee's work, which has been mo.st carefully and systematically planned, and placed In the hands of those whose executive ability will Insure its successful and timely completion.
