Show PRICE'S TEND DOWNWARD; THE TRADING WAS LIGHT Prices on the stock market tended downward today, the decline toe- Ing noticeable In all but two properties. Lower Mammoth dropped from 66 .cents to 13. Daly-Judge sold at $9.20, and Daly West slid from $42.60 to $42.47. May Day went below IS cents, for the first time In a month, record- ing a sale as low at 17c. Con. Mercur sloughed oft to $1.48, and New Tork responded to a bid of 22!i cents. Wabash opened at 26 cents and closed at 25c, and Century released 100 shares at 47e. Sacramento and Carlsa remained stationary, while Utah got' 74 cents for 100 shares. The total transactions aggregated 12,800 shares, selling for $14,941. . The closing quotations and liat of sales follow: AFTERNOON CALL. Carisa went down to HMc on the afternoon call, selling 200 at 15!e and the same number of shares at 15V4c. Lower Mammoth made a further drop, releasing 100 shares at 49c. and Sacramento held firm at 27c, with a sale of 2250 shares. Utah weakened, sell- ing 200 shares at 2ic, 200 at 74c, and 100 at 73fcc. New York dropped off another notch, selling 200 shares at 22V4c. Wabash sold 2C00 shares. 1600 at 26 600 at 26c, seller sixty days, t- and 500 at 26c, seller thirty days. The De La Mar Bonanxa Gold Mining company Is the name of a new organization organi-zation capitalized at $1,000,000. which will develop sixteen claims adjoining Bamberger's De La Mar property on the south. The officers of the new company com-pany will be Louis E. Bamberger.- president; pres-ident; W. W. Armstrong, vice-president; Joseph Oberndorfer, secretary and treasurer; G. C. Manager Mayne of the MInoIa Mining Mi-ning company, whose property adjoins the Silver King, came down from the mine Sunday night, much enrouraged over the progress being made in the shaft. Mr. Mayne reports that the shaft is now down 500 feet, and says It should strike the Silver King vrfn Inside In-side of another thirty feet. The Minola management might have tapped the contact vein nearer to the surface by sinking farther to the north, but It was thought advisable to strike it at a good depth. a STAR CON. ORE. Manager Packard of the Star Consolidated Con-solidated was In the city last night, and made the settlement on a car of ore from that mine showing $26 In gold and twelve ounces silver. Mr. Packard stated that two more cars from the recent re-cent strike on the 300-foot level will reach the local market tonight.
